Islamabad, May 11, 2025: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has taken a major step toward providing quality education at the intermediate level.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced the expansion of the prestigious Islamia College Peshawar campus to six additional districts across the province.
The decision aims to improve access to quality education in remote and underserved areas.
Gandapur stated that the initiative will offer students in these districts the opportunity to receive intermediate-level education under the academic umbrella of Islamia College.
The locations for the new campuses are expected to be finalized in consultation with local administrations and education departments.

The Chief Minister further added the expansion of prestigious institution aims to improve education standards and bridge the urban-rural gap.
CM Ali Amin Gandapur emphasized that students from all socio-economic backgrounds would benefit from this initiative.
Founded in 1913, Islamia College Peshawar holds historic significance and has long served as a beacon of learning in the region.
The planned expansion is being seen as a major step toward decentralizing higher education opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
