Islamabad, May 12, 2025: Montreal’s McGill University has officially opened applications for its 2025–2026 academic year of the McCall MacBain Scholarships.
This is a fully funded opportunity for students from both Canada and around the world who aims to pursue a master’s or professional degree in Canada.
What Does Scholarship Covers
The McCall MacBain program provides:
- Full coverage of tuition and academic fees
- A monthly stipend of CA$2,000 to help with living expenses
- Financial support for moving to Montreal
- Access to mentors, leadership training, and a strong international network of scholars

Who Can Apply
Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Be finishing their first undergraduate degree by August 2026
- Have completed their undergraduate degree in or after January 2020
- Have graduated before January 2020 but were no older than 30 on January 1, 2025
They must also meet the entry criteria for McGill’s graduate programs, including language requirements where needed.
Application Deadlines
- August 20, 2025: For applicants outside Canada and the U.S.
- September 24, 2025: For applicants who studied in Canada, the U.S., or Canadians living abroad
