Islamabad, 12 May, 2025: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has released its production and sales figures for April 2025, revealing contrasting trends across its vehicle segments.

The disclosure, submitted in accordance with Section 131 of the Securities Act 2015, was addressed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

Strong Demand for Three-Wheelers

The company reported a notable surge in three-wheeler vehicle sales, with 1,958 units sold during April, significantly exceeding the month’s production total of 1,742 units.

This indicates a growing demand in the domestic market for affordable and efficient transport solutions, particularly within the urban mobility sector.

Modest Figures for Four-Wheelers

In contrast, Sazgar’s four-wheeler division, which includes off-road and passenger vehicles, registered lower performance.

The firm produced 693 four-wheelers during April, of which 549 units were successfully delivered to customers.

Although the figures reflect steady activity, they mark a more cautious pace in this segment compared to the three-wheeler category.

Corporate Statement and Outlook

The production and sales summary was formally shared by Arshad Mahmood, the company’s Secretary, from Sazgar’s registered office located in Lahore.

While no specific commentary accompanied the data, industry analysts suggest that the strong showing in the three-wheeler sector may reflect rising cost-consciousness among consumers, alongside improved distribution efficiency.

The company’s head office remains situated at 88-Ali Town, Thokar Niaz Baig, Raiwind Road, Lahore, from where all communications were issued.

Future Implications

Market experts believe these figures reinforce Sazgar’s position as a leading player in Pakistan’s compact vehicle sector.

The trend of higher sales than production in three-wheelers also hints at backlogged demand, which may prompt increased output in the coming months.

As economic pressures continue to influence vehicle preferences, Sazgar’s dual focus on affordability and reliability appears to be paying off particularly among commercial and small-scale transport operators.
