Islamabad, 13 May, 2025: The Toyota Corolla Cross has long been known for being practical and reliable, but the 2026 model gives it a well-deserved glow-up. With changes in visuals, plus new GR Sport trim, the Corolla Cross now brings a little more persona to the road.

It is not a high-performance vehicle like the Lexus LBX Morizo RR, but the improvements make it look and feel more dynamic than before.

What’s New on the Outside

Toyota has updated the front fascia with a sharper, more modern look. A new honeycomb-pattern grille and redesigned headlights give the SUV a more confident stance. Higher trims even include an LED light strip running across the front for a bold visual touch.

At the back, the taillights now include small aerodynamic fins. Toyota says they help with stability, but they also give the rear a more refined appearance. All versions come with fresh 18-inch wheels, while the GR Sport model rolls on exclusive 19-inch black rims. A standout paint option, Storm Grey, is also exclusive to the GR trim.

Interior Upgrades and Added Features

Inside the cabin, there’s a more refined layout with an updated gear selector and a wider center console. A new 10-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster make the dashboard feel more high-tech, while wireless charging and Toyota’s latest infotainment system improve everyday convenience.

GR Sport buyers get added style with leather and Alcantara seats stitched in red, a black headliner, and other subtle sporty details.

Same Engine, Better Drive

Under the hood, the 2.0-liter engine remains unchanged at 175 horsepower, paired with a CVT that mimics 10 gear shifts. While power numbers stay the same, Toyota has made tweaks to the suspension and steering. The vehicle now sits slightly lower and features driving modes for Sport and Snow. Paddle shifters are included for more hands-on control.
