Islamabad, May 14, 2025: The wait is over as Peacock has officially announced the name and upcoming debut of its highly anticipated The Office spinoff during NBC’s Upfront presentation. Titled The Paper, the new series comes with fresh casting details, a storyline summary, and confirmation of its streaming platform.

What’s the Title of the Spinoff?

The long-speculated spinoff will be called The Paper. Staying true to the straightforward naming style of The Office, the title reflects the show’s newspaper setting. Now that the title has been revealed, fans doesn’t have to refer The Paper as Untitled Office Spinoff.

When Will It Be Released?

The Paper is set to release this September, though a confirmed premiere date is still under wraps. The series will be available exclusively on Peacock.

Is The Trailer Released?

There’s no release trailer just yet, but Peacock has shared a first-look image featuring some of the lead cast members  including Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, and The Office alum Oscar Nuñez.

What’s the Series About?

Staying within the same fictional universe as The Office, The Paper Peacock series follows the documentary crew that once spotlighted the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch.

Now the crew in search of a new story, stumbles upon a once-iconic newspaper in the Midwest, named The Truth Teller, and its determined publisher who is trying to revive it.

Who’s in the Cast?

The series stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Oscar Nuñez, with Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key set to join the cast.
