Islamabad, 14 May, 2025: Telenor Pakistan posted total income growth of 8.7 percent on a year-on-year (YoY) basis during the first quarter of 2025, taking the revenue to Rs. 33 billion compared to revenue to Rs.30.350 billion posted in the same quarter of 2024.

According to the Telenor Group’s latest results, total service profits for January March 2025 increased by 14 percent YoY from Rs. 23.756 billion to Rs. 27.086 billion.

Telenor Pakistan’s average revenue per user (ARPU) per month rose by 12 percent YoY in the first quarter, driven by improved macroeconomic conditions and a decline in energy prices.

In Q1 2025, gross profit better by 9.2 percent YoY from Rs. 27.291 billion to Rs. 29.811 billion.

Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) increased by 21.5 percent YoY in Q1 2025 from Rs. 1.432 billion last year to Rs. 1.703 billion.

Adjusted EBITDA rose to Rs. 14.941 billion, up 18.7 percent YoY from Rs. 12.58 billion in Q1 2024.

For 2024, Telenor Pakistan’s total revenue reached Rs. 123 billion.

Telenor’s Asian portfolio includes full possession of Telenor Pakistan, a 55.8 percent stake in Grameenphone (Bangladesh), 33.1 percent in CelcomDigi (Malaysia), 30.3 percent in True Corporation (Thailand), a 55 percent stake in Easypaisa (Pakistan), and regional offices in Bangkok and Singapore.
