Islamabad, 15, May, 2025: Postponed Matric and Inter Exams in Lahore have been officially rescheduled following earlier delays caused by heightened regional tensions.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, in its recent announcement, released a new timetable to accommodate students affected by the suspension of exams earlier this month.

As per the revised notification, Postponed Matric and Inter Exams will now resume with the practical exam for Matric students originally set for May 7 rescheduled to May 17.

These include subjects such as Biology, Computer Science, and Food & Nutrition. Additionally, practical exams that were due on May 9 for Biology, Computer Science, and Arts will now be conducted on May 24.

At the intermediate level, the Tarjuma-tul-Quran paper, initially scheduled for May 9, has been pushed to May 31. Similarly, the exams for Islamiyat and Accounting that were due on May 7 will now take place on June 16.

The examination board has made it clear that Postponed Matric and Inter Exams will be held at the originally designated centers, and students are required to use their current roll number slips, as no new ones will be issued.

BISE Lahore’s Controller of Examinations urged students to strictly follow the updated timetable and prepare accordingly to avoid any confusion.

This timely clarification aims to ensure that students and institutions are aligned with the modified schedule, allowing academic activities to proceed without further interruptions.

The board’s decision reflects an effort to maintain consistency in the examination process while accommodating unavoidable disruptions.
