The timing of the resolution overlaps with the recent announcement of the CSS 2024 written exam results by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), which highlighted the exam’s intense competitiveness.

Out of 23,100 applicants, only 15,602 appeared for the written test and just 395 passed.

This marks a success rate of only 2.53%, underscoring the pressure and limited opportunities faced by aspiring civil servants in Pakistan.
