Islamabad, 17 May, 2025: Summer Vacations Announced across Balochistan as the School Education Department has issued a formal schedule for the annual summer break.
The directive applies to all government and privately-run schools situated within the designated summer zone of the province.
Official Break Dates Confirmed
As per the official circular, summer vacations announced will begin on May 17 and extend through July 31, 2025.
This nearly eleven-week break is being introduced to safeguard students and staff from extreme temperatures typically experienced during the peak summer months in these regions.

Education officials have confirmed that these dates are in line with the provincial academic calendar and have been approved to maintain consistency across all institutions operating in the affected areas.
Implementation Orders Issued
The School Education Department has instructed the Director of Education (Schools) and the Managing Director of the Balochistan Education Foundation (BEF) to ensure the directive is strictly followed.
These authorities have been asked to oversee the enforcement of the vacation schedule and report any discrepancies.
Copies of the announcement have also been dispatched to senior administrative figures across the province, including the Principal Secretary to the Governor and the Chief Minister of Balochistan.
District and divisional education officers have likewise received the notice to facilitate region-wide implementation.
