Islamabad, 17 May, 2025: Khalifa University Graduate Scholarship opportunities are now open for international and domestic students aiming to pursue postgraduate studies in the United Arab Emirates.
The university, located in Abu Dhabi, has announced generous funding for its Spring 2025 Master’s and PhD programs, welcoming applicants from across the globe.
Comprehensive Support for Global Scholars
The Khalifa University Graduate Scholarship offers a full waiver of tuition fees along with a monthly living stipend of up to AED 40,000 (approximately USD 10,890).
In addition to financial support, the scholarship includes accommodation, study materials, medical insurance, visa sponsorship, and return airfare for eligible full-time international students.

No separate application for the scholarship is necessary, as all prospective students are assessed for financial awards during the standard admission process.
Scholarship allocation is based on academic excellence, merit, and alignment with the university’s strategic research areas.
Who Can Apply?
To be considered, applicants must meet several academic and language criteria. Candidates applying directly from a bachelor’s degree must have a CGPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0, while those applying with a master’s degree require a minimum of 3.25.
Additionally, applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through a valid TOEFL (91+), IELTS (6.5+), or EmSAT (1550) score. GRE scores are also required, with a minimum quantitative score of 150.
A statement of purpose, academic transcripts, recommendation letters, and a research proposal (for PhD aspirants) must be submitted.
Application Process and Deadline
Applicants must upload all required documents via the university’s online portal before the deadline of May 18, 2025. These include certified degree certificates, a detailed CV, proof of English proficiency, passport copies, and more.
For those who studied outside the UAE, an equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education is also necessary.
