Islamabad, 17 May, 2025: Overseas Pakistanis travelling through Lahore can now obtain their international driving license directly at the airport, thanks to a newly introduced initiative by the Lahore Traffic Police.
A self-service traffic kiosk is set to be installed in the departure area of Allama Iqbal International Airport.

As per traffic authorities, passengers will simply need to show their visa along with a valid Pakistani driving license to instantly receive an international driving permit.
A printed version of the license will be issued on the spot.
The kiosk will also support services such as the renewal of learner’s permits, domestic driving licenses, and international permits.

Operating 24 hours a day, the digital booth aims to ensure non-stop, hassle-free access for travellers.
Officials also shared that the total number of traffic kiosks in Lahore will be increased to 10 by the end of this month, with a larger expansion plan to establish 100 such kiosks citywide during the upcoming financial year.
