Islamabad, May 19, 2025: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) will observe Pink Day today, during the 30th match of PSL X between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, to support the battle against breast cancer.
As part of its social responsibility efforts, the PSL is collaborating with the Pink Ribbon campaign to promote awareness about breast cancer and highlight the importance of early diagnosis.
This initiative follows the league’s previous observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Day on 3 May.
For the Pink Day game, Islamabad United will sport specially designed pink kits, while Karachi Kings players and match officials will wear pink caps. All players, officials, coaching staff, and commentators will display pink ribbons throughout the match.

The stumps will be decorated in pink, and messages about breast cancer awareness will be shown on digital screens and LED boards around the stadium. Commentators will also share important breast cancer awareness information during the live telecast.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer underlined the league’s dedication to health causes, saying, “The PSL has always performed its duty of care by creating awareness about health-related issues and supporting noble causes. Breast cancer affects many lives, and it’s essential to prioritize early detection and support those affected.”

Notable personalities from cricket and entertainment, including Pakistan women’s team captain Fatima Sana, presenter Zainab Abbas, and Multan Sultans’ Alex Hartley, have expressed their support for the campaign, urging fans to get involved.
In partnership with Holy Family Hospital, Benazir Bhutto Hospital, and Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital (DHQ), every ticket for the 19 May match will serve as a voucher for a free breast cancer examination and screening.
Fans attending the match are encouraged to wear pink as a sign of solidarity with the breast cancer awareness cause.
