Islamabad, 21 May, 2025: Google unveils AI advancement with the introduction of Veo 3, a next-generation video creation model capable of generating lifelike footage complete with synchronized sound.

Revealed on Tuesday, this breakthrough marks a major milestone in the company’s ongoing push into generative artificial intelligence, especially in a market increasingly focused on dynamic, audio-visual AI tools.

Veo 3: Beyond Visuals

Veo 3’s capabilities include rendering natural sounds, such as human conversations and ambient animal noises, while maintaining realistic movements and lip-sync accuracy.

According to Eli Collins, Vice President of Product at Google DeepMind, the tool incorporates advanced physics simulation to enhance realism.

Currently, Veo 3 is accessible to users in the United States through Google’s premium Ultra Plan, which is priced at $249.99 per month.

The service is also available to enterprise customers via the Vertex AI platform, with expansion to more countries on the horizon.

Image and Film Tools Also Upgraded

Alongside Veo 3, Google launched Imagen 4, a refined image-generation model capable of producing sharper, more detailed visuals based on user inputs.

Additionally, a new feature called Flow was introduced to assist creators in crafting cinematic sequences by describing visual elements such as camera angles and settings. Flow is being integrated into services like Gemini, Workspace, and Vertex AI.

Rising Competition and Industry Pressures

Google unveils AI amid intensifying rivalry in the creative AI space. Earlier this year, OpenAI’s 4o model temporarily overwhelmed its own infrastructure due to high user demand.

Meanwhile, previous backlash over Google’s Imagen 3 criticized for historical inaccuracies prompted revisions ahead of this new rollout.

To round out its offerings, Google has also enhanced its earlier Veo 2 model with editing features and introduced Lyria 2, an audio tool now available to YouTube Shorts creators and business clients.
