Islamabad, 22 May, 2025: Punjab’s Special Schools have announced revised operational hours as part of a temporary schedule change introduced by the Department of Special Education.
The adjustment is aimed at easing daily routines for children with special needs during rising seasonal temperatures.

According to the updated notification, Punjab’s Special Schools will now function from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on regular weekdays.
On Fridays, classes will conclude slightly earlier at 11:30 AM. These changes, which take effect immediately, will stay in place until the commencement of the summer vacation.

The department said the revised hours were introduced to prioritise the comfort and well-being of students.
This seasonal shift in timing reflects an ongoing commitment to accommodate the specific requirements of students attending Punjab’s Special Schools.
