Islamabad, May 23, 2025: In a startling turn of events, former Indian Foreign Minister Yashwant Sinha has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration of misleading the public by masking critical failures of Operation Sindoor and manipulating the Pulwama false flag operation for political leverage.
His explosive remarks have reignited debate over national security and transparency in India.
Sinha’s revelations, delivered in a scathing statement, assert that the Modi-led government, in coordination with mainstream “Godi media,” is deliberately distorting facts related to Operation Sindoor. He claims the operation was not only unsuccessful but also used as a political tool to influence elections—particularly in Bihar.
“Today in India, questioning a military or intelligence failure brands you a traitor,” said Sinha, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to step down over their mishandling of the situation.

He further lambasted Modi for skipping an all-party meeting to instead deliver politically charged speeches—an act Sinha argues symbolizes the BJP’s deep-rooted preference for propaganda over unity and democratic transparency.
Perhaps the most damning claim came when Sinha referred to the Pulwama incident as a politically staged false flag operation. “It was exploited to swing votes. That’s the hard truth the public needs to confront,” he stated.
Defence experts have weighed in, warning that Sinha’s bold accusations could have lasting repercussions on India’s global military credibility and diplomatic posture.

If substantiated, these claims not only expose cracks in India’s national security framework but also point toward the dangerous politicization of military actions.
