Islamabad, May 26, 2025: The Islamabad district administration has officially issued a notification approving the establishment of six cattle markets across the federal capital in preparation for Eid.
According to the notification, focal persons have been appointed for all designated cattle markets to ensure smooth operations and effective management.
Assistant Commissioner Maheen Hassan has been assigned as the focal person for the Sangjani cattle market. AC Farwa Batool will oversee the I-12 cattle market, while AC Nihal Abdullah has been appointed for the I-15 cattle market.

In Barakahu, Assistant Commissioner Uzair Ali Khan will serve as the focal person. For the cattle market on Lehtrar Road, Muhammad Ali will be in charge, and AC Fahad Cheema has been designated as the focal person for the Express Highway cattle market.
This initiative aims to provide citizens with organized and well-managed facilities for the purchase of sacrificial animals during Eid-ul-Adha.
