Islamabad, May 26, 2025: Intense heat and humidity caused two female students to faint during their exams in Burewala on Saturday.

According to Rescue sources, the students were overwhelmed by the scorching temperatures inside the examination room, leading to their sudden collapse. Despite the critical situation, they were not shifted to the hospital due to ongoing exams.

Rescue officials administered first aid and IV drips on the spot, inside the examination hall, to stabilize the girls’ condition.

Both students were reportedly appearing in their 11th-grade board examinations when the incident occurred.

Authorities are now being urged to ensure better ventilation and cooling arrangements during exams amidst the rising summer temperatures.
