Islamabad, 26 May 2025: Wicket Taker of PSL X, as the edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL X) concluded with some standout performances. The tournament saw an explosive display of batting and bowling, led by national icons and rising stars alike.
Batting Titans: Farhan and Fakhar Light Up the League
Wicket Taker of PSL X may have stolen the bowling spotlight, but with the bat, Islamabad United’s Sahibzada Farhan stood tallest. He topped the scoring charts with a formidable total of 449 runs, including a century.
His aggressive approach yielded 21 sixes and 52 fours, making him the most prolific batter of the season.

Hot on his heels was Lahore Qalandars’ Fakhar Zaman, who amassed 439 runs during the campaign. Fakhar’s striking ability was on full display with 24 sixes and 46 boundaries, securing him the second spot.
While he narrowly missed out on this season’s top scorer title, Fakhar remains the all-time record holder for most runs in a single PSL season a remarkable 588 runs during the 2021–22 edition.

Bowling Brilliance: Shaheen Shah Afridi Tops the Charts
Wicket Taker of PSL X Shaheen Shah Afridi showcased his prowess once more, spearheading Lahore Qalandars’ attack with exceptional skill.
The left-arm pacer dismissed 19 batters during the tournament, making him the leading wicket-taker and reinforcing his dominance in T20 cricket.
Fielding Excellence and Behind the Stumps
Among wicket-keepers, Peshawar Zalmi’s Muhammad Haris delivered a consistent performance behind the stumps, taking 12 catches to become the most effective keeper of the season.
