The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that all offices, all across Pakistan, will remain closed on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in observance of Youm-e-Takbeer.

May 28 is celebrated as the day commemorating Pakistan’s historic nuclear tests in 1998, which made Pakistan the first Muslim-majority country, and overall the seventh nation in the world, to possess nuclear weapons. The Government of Pakistan has also declared a national holiday on May 28, 2025.
