Islamabad, May 27, 2025: In the final match of the England Women vs West Indies Women T20I series, England Women secured victory over West Indies by 17 runs on Monday, sealing a series clean sweep despite a determined effort from rival captain Hayley Matthews.

Under the leadership of newly appointed skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt, England wrapped up the T20I series 3-0. Heather Knight stole the spotlight with an impressive 66 off 47 deliveries, her best T20I performance on home ground to date, playing a vital role in helping England post a defendable total of 144 for 5.

Although West Indies showed resistance, particularly through their captain Matthews who kept the game alive deep into the chase, her out on 31 runs still needed shifted the momentum fully in England’s favor.

Earlier, Sciver-Brunt lost the toss for the first time in her tenure as full-time captain. The pitch offered a bit for the bowlers, and England relied heavily on Knight’s innings to put up a competitive score.
