Islamabad, 3 june 2025: Sana Yousaf Murder Case took a significant turn on Tuesday as Islamabad Police successfully apprehended the prime suspect less than 24 hours after the crime was reported.
In a statement issued shortly after the arrest, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the quick response from law enforcement, declaring, “Well done Islamabad Police. Sana Yousaf Murder Case traced, accused arrested and weapon recovered within 20 hours.” Police officials confirmed that the suspect confessed to the crime during preliminary interrogation, further solidifying the case.
Authorities confirmed that the accused was taken into custody earlier today, and the weapon used in the killing, along with the victim’s mobile phone, was also recovered during the operation.
According to initial reports, the Sana Yousaf Murder Case unfolded in the capital when a masked assailant fatally shot the young woman inside her residence. Police officials stated that the suspect later confessed to the crime during preliminary questioning.
