Islamabad, June 3, 2025: The Pakistani television industry is mourning a heartbreaking loss, as celebrated drama writer Saira Raza passed away last night following a severe cardiac arrest. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she could not survive the heart attack.
Saira Raza was widely admired for her emotional depth, powerful narratives, and unique ability to capture the human spirit through storytelling. Her work on the hit drama Mere Humsafar became a cultural phenomenon, resonating with audiences in Pakistan and across the globe. The series’ success not only earned her national acclaim but also established her as one of the most gifted storytellers in the industry.
