Islamabad, June 3, 2025: The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), in collaboration with the Excise and Taxation Department, has begun the registration for the auction of unique vehicle number plates via its e-auction mobile application and website.
As per a statement released on Monday, interested individuals can sign up to compete for their desired car or motorcycle registration numbers until June 30.

This digital platform enables users to join the bidding process of special number plates without leaving their homes, promoting openness and ease of access. After the auction ends, the list of successful bidders will be displayed on the official app.

Earlier this year , the Punjab government launched an e-Auction App and Web Portal in a major step towards digital governance and citizen facilitation. This initiative is part of a growing suite of e-governance tools introduced by the Government of Punjab to modernize administrative functions.
