Islamabad, 3 june 2025: Poland Warns Pakistanis and other nationals through a newly launched global awareness drive, urging them not to attempt illegal entry into the country, particularly through the often-volatile border shared with Belarus.
The campaign, which spans multiple countries including Afghanistan, Egypt, Somalia, Eritrea, and Ethiopia is part of Warsaw’s intensified efforts to curb unauthorized migration and fortify its eastern frontier.
The Polish government has begun distributing multilingual videos and targeted messages across these regions, cautioning would-be migrants about the legal and physical risks of crossing into Poland unlawfully.

In one of the campaign’s flagship videos, released by Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, stark images of Polish border patrol units and warning signage are paired with a firm voiceover stating, “Those who enter the country illegally will not be granted asylum.”
Authorities in Warsaw believe neighboring Belarus, with backing from Moscow, is facilitating the movement of migrants toward Polish borders to unsettle the European Union a charge both Belarus and Russia firmly reject.
In response to rising tensions and increasing arrivals, Poland earlier this year suspended the ability to apply for asylum at its eastern checkpoints, a decision that has drawn criticism from international human rights advocates.
Poland Warns Pakistanis again, highlighting that individuals caught breaching its borders will face legal consequences and swift deportation, rather than refuge. Officials emphasize that the current policy is grounded in national security concerns and aims to discourage perilous journeys often organized by smuggling networks.
The government insists it will persist in deploying strict measures to manage border integrity and prevent irregular entry routes from becoming viable pathways into the European Union.

Authorities continue to stress that those seeking to enter Poland must follow lawful procedures and avoid falling prey to misinformation or human traffickers.
With security now a top agenda item, Warsaw has reiterated its commitment to maintaining sovereign control of its borders while managing migration through official and regulated channels.
As part of this ongoing initiative, Poland Warns Pakistanis through regional media campaigns, advising them to avoid unauthorized routes and instead pursue legal immigration processes. The message remains clear: illegal crossings will not be tolerated, and deterrence will remain firm across all frontiers.
