Actor Vibhu Raghave Loses Battle with Cancer

Islamabad, June 4, 2025: The television industry mourns the loss of actor Vibhu Raghave, who passed away after a long struggle with stage 4 colon cancer. He was undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Vibhu, whose real name was Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghav, gained recognition for his role in the popular serial Nisha Aur Uske Cousins and had also worked in Saavdhan India.

He had been open about his illness since 2022, regularly posting updates on his condition through Instagram. His final post on April 12 read, “One day at a time,” offering a glimpse into his strength during the ordeal.

The news of his death has shocked his colleagues. Actress Kaveri Priyam shared his picture in an emotional Instagram story, while actor Karanveer Mehra posted a tribute saying, “Too soon, rest in peace brother,” with a broken-heart emoji. Actress Simple Kaul also remembered Vibhu with a touching note: “Will miss you, my dearest friend. Love, light and happiness to you.”

In the days leading up to Vibhu Raghave death, friends from the industry, including Aditi Malik and Simple Kaul, had appealed online for financial help towards his treatment. Vibhu had remained hopeful throughout, facing his illness with remarkable grace.

His untimely death has left a void in the television world, with fellow actors and fans expressing grief and remembering him for his warm personality and professional talent.
