Islamabad, 6 June 2025: Residents of the federal capital preparing to offer Eid al-Adha prayers have been advised to note the officially announced prayer schedules across key mosques and imambargahs. Worshippers are urged to arrive early to avoid congestion and ensure smooth entry at each location.
In the heart of the city, Eid prayers at the iconic Faisal Mosque are scheduled for 6:30 AM, drawing large congregations from across the capital and beyond.
In various neighborhoods, congregational prayers will begin even earlier. For instance, the Jamia Masjid Muhammadi in Burma Town will hold its Eid service at 5:05 AM, while Jamia Masjid Ashra Mubashra in CBR Town will commence prayers at 5:15 AM.

Faithful gathering in Sector F-7 can attend the Eid prayers at Jamia Masjid Abu Huraira, set to begin at 5:20 AM, whereas those near G-9 may join the prayer service at Jamia Masjid Ehsan, starting at 5:30 AM.
The Markazi Masjid Ahl-e-Hadith in Sector G-6 will observe Eid prayers at 6:00 AM, with arrangements made for a large number of attendees.
For Shia worshippers across the city, multiple imambargahs have scheduled prayers for 7:00 AM. These include Masjid-o-Imambargah Bab al-Hawaij in G-6/4, Imambargah al-Sadiq in G-9/2, and the Markazi Imambargah Isna Ashari. Additionally, the Imam Musa Kazim Mosque in Jhangi Syedan will also host Eid prayers at 7:00 AM.

Authorities have advised all congregants to follow local security protocols and arrive well in time to participate in the religious observances peacefully. Police and administration have made special arrangements for traffic and crowd management around the key prayer venues.
Eid al-Adha, observed with devotion and unity, marks the culmination of the Hajj pilgrimage and honors the tradition of sacrifice rooted in the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham).
