Islamabad, 6 June 2025: Daanish Schools are set to receive a significant financial injection under the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP), as the federal government prepares to unveil the national budget for 2025.
A total of Rs. 34.88 billion has been earmarked to expand the reach of these schools across some of Pakistan’s most underserved regions.
The proposed funding, part of a broader development strategy, is intended to strengthen access to quality education in Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan.
The initiative underscores the state’s commitment to bridging the educational divide and providing opportunities for students in remote areas.

The PSDP serves as a central mechanism for channeling public investment toward national growth, with a focus on sectors such as infrastructure, health, and education.
The inclusion of Daanish Schools in this year’s allocation highlights the government’s priority to invest in human capital, particularly in communities long overlooked by mainstream development efforts.
According to planning officials, this expansion of Daanish Schools is designed not only to provide academic instruction but also to offer boarding facilities, meals, and co-curricular development—ensuring a holistic approach to education for disadvantaged youth.
With the federal budget scheduled for release on June 10, education advocates have welcomed the proposed allocation as a long-awaited measure that could improve literacy rates and promote social mobility in marginalized regions.
