Islamabad, June 11, 2025: Veteran Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has once again joined forces with filmmaker Boyapati Sreenu for their much-anticipated project, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. The star surprised his fans by unveiling the first glimpse of the film on his birthday, June 10.
Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus production house, and presented by M Tejeswini Nandamuri, the teaser hints at a fierce new version of Balakrishna’s character. The spiritual tone and signature action style from the first film remain intact.
The preview promises a gripping action-packed drama, with Balakrishna seen battling goons in a dramatic snow-clad setting, evoking imagery of Mount Kailash. Armed with a trident, he effortlessly launches enemies into the air, portraying power and dominance in classic cinematic style.
Blending divine symbolism with grand action, Akhanda 2 seems to balance mass appeal with mythological undertones. The teaser has sparked varied reactions online. While some criticized it for being over-the-top, especially compared to Bollywood, many lauded Balakrishna’s charisma and the film’s visual grandeur.
