Islamabad, June 20, 2025: The Punjab education boards have officially extended the deadline for Class 9 registration for the 2026 board exams, giving relief to both public and private institutions. Schools and private candidates can now complete the registration process without any late fee until July 20, 2025.
This decision comes as part of efforts to accommodate institutions and students facing documentation or administrative delays. Candidates who successfully register by this new deadline will be eligible to appear in the 2026 9th-grade board examinations.
However, for those who miss the standard deadline, the registration window will remain open until August 4, 2025, with a late fee of Rs. 600. After this final date, no further applications will be entertained, and students will lose the opportunity to sit in the upcoming board exams.
Students and school administrators are urged to act promptly and avoid the last-minute rush to ensure a smooth registration process. This extended timeline is a crucial chance for institutions to finalize enrollment and secure eligibility for their students.
