Originally completed years ago but not released for undisclosed reasons, Detective Sherdil is a fresh take on the classic whodunit, laced with quirks and comedy. This film is the debut of Ravi Chhabriya as a director, who has worked as an assistant on Bollywood hits like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat. The writing team includes Chhabriya himself, along with renowned filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar and Sagar Bajaj.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Budapest, the story revolves in the peculiar world of Sherdil, a private investigator who doesn’t quite play by the book.
