Islamabad, June 20, 2025: Aamir Khan has made his long-awaited comeback with Sitaare Zameen Par, a moving sports drama that is already creating waves among audiences.
Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film follows a basketball coach, played by Aamir Khan who is assigned to train a group of intellectually disabled individuals as part of a court-ordered punishment. What begins as a reluctant duty slowly becomes a life-changing journey.
The film is being seen as a spiritual continuation of the much-loved Taare Zameen Par from 2007. While that film explored childhood learning struggles, Sitaare Zameen Par focuses on second chances, inclusion, and finding strength in unexpected places.
Genelia Deshmukh plays a significant role alongside Khan, and the cast includes several first-time actors with special needs, adding authenticity to the story.
