Islamabad, June 27, 2025: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially opened Hajj 2026 registration across Pakistan. All intending pilgrims, including overseas Pakistanis, are urged to complete advance registration by July 9, 2025, to become eligible for next year’s pilgrimage.
This mandatory pre-registration applies to both the government and private Hajj schemes. No payment or Hajj fee is required at this stage. Applicants can register at 15 designated banks across the country, while overseas Pakistanis may use authorized channels.
According to ministry officials, this step is essential as only registered individuals will be considered in the final Hajj selection. A spokesperson clarified that this is not a Hajj confirmation, but a key requirement to determine eligibility and quota allocation.
The ministry emphasized that early registration aligns with the Saudi Government’s guidelines, which allocate each country’s Hajj quota based on the number of registered applicants. Failure to register could result in exclusion from the official Hajj 2026 list.
