Islamabad, June 27, 2025: In a major move towards digital transformation, the Punjab Transport Company (PTC) has started providing route permits online. These permits are now available through the official Punjab Portal website.
As per information, users will also be able to obtain route permits online through a specialized mobile app, and permit charges can be settled via digital payment methods.
The upcoming stage of the paper-free framework is also close to finalization, which involves the rollout of online fine (challan) payments. Similar to the system used by traffic authorities, PTC fines will soon be payable electronically, enabling users to clear dues instantly through the mobile application as soon as the challan is issued.

In the past, fines were submitted manually at National Bank branches, but the upcoming electronic system aims to simplify the procedure and enhance convenience.
