Islamabad, July 2, 2025: The Ministry of Commerce has revised the Import Policy Order 2022 to authorize the import and re-export of military vehicles, helicopters, and components through the Federal Board of Revenue’s Export Facilitation Scheme (EFS).

The revision allows imports for the purpose of production, servicing, and enhancement, with re-export permitted under the terms set by EFS. It also allows temporary import of pre-owned vehicles and chassis for armoring or bulletproof upgrades.

The alteration received approval from the Economic Coordination Committee in June 2025, following a proposal from the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
