Islamabad, July 4, 2025: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched a formal investigation into large-scale illegal recruitments and corruption within the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC).
The probe targets former Chairman Noor Muhammad Jadmani and 15 other officials over irregular hiring, misuse of authority, and favoritism. NAB has summoned the SPSC to submit all appointment records, including documents tied to court petitions. The current SPSC chairman has one week to comply.
Initial findings revealed incomplete records, leading NAB to demand a full account of all recruitments. Sources say some officers manipulated exams to favor their children and relatives.
In the next phase, NAB will question beneficiaries of these illegal appointments to expose the full scale of corruption. This isn’t the first time SPSC is under fire — a 2020 NAB probe also revealed fake recruitments in three provincial departments.
One key case under review involves the 2018 exam cycle, where eligible candidates were reportedly replaced by ineligible ones through backdoor deals.

The ongoing investigation underscores serious flaws in Sindh’s recruitment system. NAB is pushing to restore transparency and bring all involved to justice.
