Islamabad, July 6, 2025: Punjab University (PU) has officially announced admissions for its undergraduate programs for the academic year 2025. As per the university’s notification, the deadline to submit online applications is August 5, 2025, till 11:59 PM.
A spokesperson from PU confirmed that the results of the first entry test have been uploaded on the university’s official website. Students can now check their results online. Around 34,000 candidates appeared in the first test, showing great interest in PU’s academic programs.
The registration for the second entry test, scheduled for July 20, has already closed on July 4. Students who appeared in the first test were allowed to take the second attempt to improve their scores.

PU has clearly stated that 25 percent of the admission weightage will be based on the entry test, which is compulsory for all undergraduate admissions.

To facilitate students from different areas, PU is holding its entry tests in various major cities of Pakistan. The university has introduced seven different types of tests, designed according to different academic fields.
