Islamabad, July 10, 2025: The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 arrives as the most refined foldable phone yet, shedding weight and adding serious upgrades across the board. At just 215 grams, it’s 24g lighter than its predecessor, making it easier to carry and use one-handed.
Thanks to the redesigned Armor FlexHinge and Armor Aluminum frame, the Fold7 measures only 8.9 mm folded and 4.2 mm unfolded — a slim profile that rivals top Chinese foldables like the vivo X Fold5. But slimness isn’t the only headline.
The Fold7 boasts the largest displays in the series, with an 8.0-inch main screen and a 6.5-inch cover display, both featuring a 21:9 aspect ratio. These Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels offer a smooth 1-120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The front is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, while the back uses Victus 2.
Samsung has removed the under-display camera and gone with a clearer 10MP punch-hole on the main screen. Sadly, S Pen support is gone, but the Ultra-Thin Glass is now 50% thicker for durability. It still holds an IP48 rating, offering protection against dust and water.
On the rear, you get the same 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, along with a 10MP 3x telephoto and 12MP ultrawide camera. The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy powers the Fold7, available in 12GB or 16GB RAM options and up to 1TB of storage.
Connectivity sees a boost with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while One UI 8 based on Android 16 ensures smooth operation. The full Galaxy AI Suite is onboard, and Samsung promises 7 years of Android updates and security patches. Fold7 buyers also get 6 months of Google AI Pro free.
