Andre Russell, a world class seam-bowling all-rounder from Jamaica, started his career at 19 and earned his Test debut at 22. He is best known as a T20 icon, recognized globally and in high demand across cricket leagues around the world. Russell’s extraordinary talent had long been clear in domestic T20 cricket, shining especially bright during the 2013 Caribbean Premier League when he played a key role in leading the Jamaica Tallawahs to the title.

In 2015, Andre Russell was charged for missing three drug tests, a violation treated like a failed one. Found guilty of breaching the whereabouts rule, he received a 1-year suspension in 2017 an unfortunate setback during his prime.
