Islamabad, July 18, 2025: Students who want to study in Canada at the master’s or PhD level can now apply for the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS). This scholarship helps students pay for their studies and living expenses.
It gives up to $15,000 per year to students in many well-known universities in Ontario, Canada.
Who Can Apply?
This scholarship is open to both Canadian and international students. To apply:
- You must be starting or already doing a full-time master’s or PhD program.
- You must study for at least two terms in one academic year.
- You must apply to a university in Ontario that takes part in the OGS program.
How Much is the Scholarship?
The amount depends on how long you study in the year:
- $10,000 for 2 terms (8 months)
- $15,000 for 3 terms (12 months)
You can get this scholarship for up to 2 years.

The Government of Ontario and the universities both give money for this program. The government pays two-thirds and the university pays the rest.

How to Apply
- Go to the website of the university where you want to study.
- Visit the Graduate Studies section.
- Fill out the OGS application form online.
- If you are applying to more than one university, submit a separate application for each.
