One key change is related to child registration certificates, also called B-Forms. Now, children above three years must have a photo and fingerprint data and each child will get a separate B-Form. These new B-Forms will be needed for passport applications, as old ones will no longer work.

The Family Registration Certificate (FRC) has also been improved and will now be accepted as a legal document for things like inheritance. People can also fix or update their family records using NADRA’s mobile app.
