Islamabad, July 22, 2025: A recent report by The Telegraph has exposed how Pakistani nationals are entering the United Kingdom and securing UK visas using forged documents obtained through illegal black-market sources.
The investigation highlights that some individuals are paying as much as £50,000 to obtain forged visa papers. These documents, although containing false information, have occasionally been accepted by the UK Home Office due to system loopholes and weak checks.
At the center of this network is Syed Kamran Haider, who runs MVC visa consultancy in Mirpur Kashmir. Haider is known for teaching clients how to manipulate flaws in the British asylum process, raising serious concerns among immigration experts.
According to the report, MVC provides clients with fabricated CVs, bogus bank records, and fake job letters. In one case, a visa applicant claimed to be employed at a hospital that no longer exists. The former head of the hospital confirmed the letter was entirely fabricated including incorrect contact details.

While much of the UK focus has been on migrants arriving through small boat channels, this new method of using fake documents has gone unnoticed as these types of scams are harder to catch and can slip through the system.

In addition, Pakistanis have now become the top nationality seeking asylum in the United Kingdom. According to official UK Home Office data for the year ending March 2025, Pakistan topped the asylum chart with a total of 11,048 applications, surpassing every other nation.
Experts are now urging the UK government to improve background checks and fix weak spots in the visa and asylum system to combat such situations.
