Islamabad, July 24, 2025: Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan returns with a new Sci-Fi drama, Happiness Is Contagious, with a full reveal on July 25.
Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is returning with a brand-new series and this time, it is something very different. Apple TV+ has unveiled the upcoming show with a strange and eye-catching image, a yellow smiley face grown inside a Petri dish, along with the tagline “Happiness Is Contagious.”

The full reveal, with the trailer and official title is set for Friday, July 25. The show stars Rhea Seehorn, best known for her role as Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul and will explore a Sci-Fi story grounded in the real world.

Filmed in Albuquerque, the series was silently green-lit for two full seasons back in 2022, showing that Apple TV+ has a lot of faith in the project. While details are still under wraps, Gilligan has said the story will take place in a familiar world, until everything suddenly changes.
Fans are already buzzing about the strange hint and what it could mean. With Gilligan’s storytelling and Seehorn in the lead, this mysterious new show is one to keep an eye on.
