Islamabad 24 July: 336,999 Pakistanis secured overseas jobs in first half of 2025 according to official data released by the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE), an attached department of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (MOP&HRD).
As of mid-2025, the BEOE listed a total of 264,497 foreign job opportunities, out of which 143,584 have been filled, while 120,913 remain available for aspiring overseas workers.
According to a government agency this year’s emigration figures reflected a growing demand for Pakistani labor across the Gulf and other foreign markets. The increase is being driven by a mix of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled labor needs in sectors such as construction, healthcare, IT, and services.
