Islamabad, July 26, 2025: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has introduced a cutting-edge digital system to curb fraud in the real estate and housing sector, aiming to promote transparent property dealings throughout Pakistan.
Lt Gen (R) Nazir Ahmed, the NAB Chairman, is expected to officially launch the system in the coming days.
This secure digital platform is designed to block fraudulent practices and maintain an online archive of plot records across the country. Through this system, both buyers and sellers will be able to access authenticated reports that outline the legal standing of plots or housing projects, including NOCs, layout plans, and ownership records.
This high-tech solution has been created by the Director General NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi along with his team, and it will centralize all property details into one national database.
Sources reveal that citizens will soon be able to check the NOC status, approved map, and legal ownership of any property or housing scheme through a few simple steps.

The platform is mainly designed to safeguard the public from fraud and prevent major irregularities like duplicate file sales, unauthorized allotments, and fake documentation within housing societies.
As per NAB, the system will be a helpful resource for regulatory bodies, security agencies, and ordinary users. It is likely to boost openness and reliability within the property market.
A NAB representative shared that the system will be rolled out for public access shortly, allowing thorough verification before making any property deals.
