Vince Gilligan, the renowned creator behind Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is returning to television with a new Sci-Fi drama titled Pluribus. The first look at the Apple TV+ original has just been released, with the series set to premiere on November 7, 2025.

Starring Rhea Seehorn, who played Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul, Pluribus marks a shift for Gilligan into a more surreal and visionary genre. The story follows a character described as “the most miserable person on Earth,” who is somehow entrusted with saving the world from happiness. The concept fuses psychological depth with dark humour, offering a fresh take on classic Sci-Fi storytelling.

Apple revealed a short teaser titled Happiness is Contagious, which features unsettling scene like a woman in medical scrubs licking donuts before offering them to others. The teaser has sparked stir online, with fans and critics praising its eerie, quirky tone.
Rhea Seehorn plays the lead role in a part written specifically for her by Gilligan. The show also stars Karolina Wydra, Carlos Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte in supporting roles. The series will run for nine episodes, with the first two episodes releasing on November 7.
