Islamabad, July 28, 2025: The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced new government jobs 2025 across various departments including Punjab Prisons, Agriculture Research, and Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education.
Punjab Prisons Department
A total of 115 posts are available for the role of Assistant Superintendent Jail (BS-16). Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. The positions are open to males only.
There are also 13 posts for Deputy Assistant Superintendent (BS-15), which are also restricted to male candidates. Applicants must provide a service certificate from their department, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Agriculture Department
The Research Wing of the Agriculture Department is seeking candidates for the post of Senior Scientist (BS-18). There is only one open merit seat, requiring a PhD in Soil Science or 16 years of education with 5 years’ experience. The age limit for males is 30 to 45 years, and for females 30 to 48 years.

Specialized Healthcare Department
Multiple posts are open for Associate Professors and Professors in Orthopedic Surgery and Paediatric Surgery. Applicants must have FCPS/MS or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of teaching experience. A valid PMDC/PMC registration is mandatory.
