Islamabad, Aug 1, 2025: The 24 karat gold rate in Pakistan dropped by Rs. 100 per tola on Thursday, now being traded at Rs. 352,900 compared to Rs. 353,000 a day earlier, according to the latest figures from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

It’s important to highlight that the gold rate in Pakistan had already fell by Rs. 10,200 per tola over five consecutive days before gaining Rs. 300 on Wednesday. However, Thursday witnessed another notable drop of Rs. 2,000 per tola.

With today’s decline, the total reduction in value over the past eight trading days has reached Rs. 12,000 per tola.

Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold slipped by Rs. 86, settling at Rs. 302,555 from the earlier Rs. 302,641.

On the other hand, silver prices stayed flat, with the rate for one tola at Rs. 3,900 and for 10 grams at Rs. 3,344.

Meanwhile, the global gold price experienced a minor drop of $1, standing at $3,302 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.
