Islamabad – August 3, 2025: Islamabad Traffic Police has issued a detailed traffic advisory due to the movement of a foreign delegation. Enhanced security measures will be in place across key routes including Serena Hotel, Club Road, Faizabad Expressway, Koral, Zero Point, and Srinagar Highway at different times of the day.
According to the advisory, traffic on the Expressway and Srinagar Highway will experience intermittent delays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Citizens are advised to plan their travel accordingly and expect slow-moving traffic on these routes.
Alternate Routes Advised by Traffic Police:
- Use service roads connected to Expressway and Srinagar Highway to avoid congestion.
- For travel towards Blue Area, Sector F-6, and F-7, commuters should use the H-8 Underpass.
- Traffic moving to and from Red Zone and Serena Hotel should opt for Margalla Road, Jinnah Avenue, Ayub Chowk, and NADRA Chowk.
- Bari Imam visitors are advised to use NADRA Chowk.
- For Sectors I and H, use Rawalpindi Peshawar Road and IJP Road via service roads.
- The route from Murree Road to Serena and Faizabad via Rawal Dam will remain closed during the movement.

Islamabad Traffic Police personnel will be stationed at various points to assist commuters. Citizens are advised to leave home 20 minutes earlier than usual to avoid travel inconveniences.
For any assistance or traffic updates, commuters can contact the Traffic Police Helpline at 1915. Additionally, real-time traffic updates will be provided through Islamabad Traffic Police’s social media platforms.
Chief Traffic Officer Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider has urged citizens to cooperate with traffic officials and follow the advisory for smooth traffic management.
