Islamabad, Aug 5, 2025: Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has delivered a firm message to schoolteachers following the announcement of this year’s matric exam results.
In a post shared on Facebook, the minister stated that teachers who consistently show outstanding performance through their students academic achievements will be rewarded. On the other hand, he cautioned those with weak track records—especially teachers whose students repeatedly fail—that they should “start worrying.”
This message was released shortly after all educational boards in Punjab declared the results for the first annual matriculation examinations of 2025.

As per the statistics issued by the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Lahore), the overall success ratio was recorded at 65.32%. Out of 254,012 candidates who took part in the exams, 165,912 managed to clear them.
