Islamabad 8 August: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has directed all political parties to submit their consolidated statements of accounts for the 2024–25 financial year by August 29, 2025, in compliance with the Elections Act, 2017.

According to an ECP statement, parties are required to file Form-D with audited details of income, expenditure, funding sources, assets, and liabilities for the year ending June 30, 2025. The submission must include a chartered accountant’s audit report, a certificate from an authorized office-bearer confirming no prohibited funding, and legible copies of bank statements with reconciliation for the fiscal year.

As per Rule 156, only a duly authorized office-bearer may submit the documents in person; submissions via post, fax, courier, or other modes will not be accepted. Free printed copies of Form-D are available at the ECP Secretariat in Islamabad and provincial offices, while digital versions can be downloaded from the ECP website.
